Four motorways connect the city to the national network at different points:

   A12 Genova - Rosignano: GE Nervi and GE Est exits, to Eastern and Southern Italy

   A10 Genova - Ventimiglia: GE Prà, GE Pegli and GE Aeroporto exits, to the French boundary

   A26 Voltri - Gravellona Toce: connecting to the A10 at GE Prà, to Turin and Northern Italy;

   A7 Genova - Milano: GE Bolzaneto and GE Ovest exits, to Milan and Northern Italy
